eduGAIN service definition and policy released
The eduGAIN service definition and policy (PDF) is available for download. The document describes the goals of eduGAIN (SA3: Task 3). It defines the services eduGAIN provides to the GÉANT community, the models it uses to provide those services, and the policy members agree to when using the eduGAIN services.
eduGAIN enters pre-pilot phase
An important milestone of the eduGAIN services is the start of the pre-pilot phase. This will see the real-world assessment and testing of eduGAIN infrastructure in preparation for the full pilot scheduled to commence in October 2010.
eduGAIN GN3 pre-pilot participants
Currently Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Poland and Switzerland and participating in the pre-pilot phase.
